Caylah Batt, an eating disorder dietitian who is Perth-based and founder of PR Nutrition

Meet Caylah Batt

Hi, I’m Caylah.

I’m passionate about sustainable health and supporting people to build a positive, balanced relationship with food.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked within public health, hospital and community paediatric settings. While I’ve valued the breadth of that experience, what I enjoy most is working one-on-one with people — creating a space where people feel heard, understood and supported to make informed, sustainable changes.

My approach is grounded in gentle curiosity. I take the time to understand your goals, your experiences and where you’re currently at. From there, we work together — combining evidence-based recommendations with practical strategies that fit your lifestyle. Nutrition shouldn’t feel rigid or overwhelming; it should feel realistic and supportive.

I’ve also experienced firsthand how powerful nutrition can be in improving gut symptoms (IBS-er here!). At the same time, I deeply value the joy and connection that food brings. No matter how much gut discomfort garlic and onion can cause me, I refuse to give them up completely — because food is about more than just nutrients. It is also joy, connection and culture.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my 10-year-old puppy, Reggie, running around our beautiful city, or exploring Perth’s café and food scene. If you’re nearby, Henry M’s is always a favourite.

Meet Reggie

Hi, I’m Reggie!

I am a Chihuahua x Jack Russel who loves to nap, get lots of pats and run around our local oval. I take my job of listening to others very seriously and am always happy to provide support in the form of cuddles, as long as it doesn’t interfere with my nap time.

I am only a casual employee so you may not see me all the time, but if you’re comfortable, I’d love to say hello and get some extra pats!

Our Approach

At PR Nutrition, our approach is collaborative, individualised and grounded in evidence-based care. We take the time to understand your goals, experiences and preferences, working together to create strategies that feel realistic and sustainable within your life — not rigid or one-size-fits-all.

Guided by gentle curiosity and a non-judgemental space, we focus on strengthening the foundations: consistent eating, flexibility, practical skills and rebuilding trust in your body. Progress isn’t about perfection — it’s about steady, meaningful change that supports both your health and your relationship with food long-term.

We also think of PR Nutrition as “PRN” meaning “as needed.” Our aim is to help you build the knowledge and confidence to feel empowered in your own choices, rather than reliant on ongoing appointments. Support is always here when you need it, but the goal is for you to feel capable and supported beyond the session room.

Our Values

  • Non-Diet Approach

  • Health at Every Size® (HAES)

  • Neuro-Affirming

  • Eating Disorder informed
